Mamis

2017 / Dir. Sergi Pascual, Bertus Compañó / Cientoquince Films

Short film co-starring with Lídia Punt and produced by Cientoquince Films. This work also counted with the support of Alba Piris as camera director and Gabi Morales of Pandereta Films in the sound. The small actors Arnau Ferrer and Omar Guillem Rubies participated with us.

Two mothers of different social classes, are in a park of Barcelona accompanying their children, who they watch while playing. When Sandra (Montse Barriga) sees her son Borja playing with Kevin, all her prejudices come to the light, and she can not help but to tell him not to play with dirty people because they are a bad influence. This is very annoying to Rosario (Lídia Punt), who has a strong character and does not hesitate to stand up for him.

Mothers begin to argue intensely and suddenly, they realize that their children are playing together, not caring at any time the social class to which they belong. That makes the mothers see the mistake they have made and embarrass them with shame.
