I am Montse Barriga, Hispanic Mexican actress living in Barcelona. I specialize in drama and define my profile as elegant, versatile and expressive. I am a cocktail from various disciplines and although sometimes my life seems crazy, I LOVE working as an actress.

Why do I say that my life seems crazy? Because I am also an aesthetic doctor, but I’m lucky that both professions have been growing together at the same time. I started in Mexico as the leading star of some musical theater pieces at the Faculty of Medicine. After obtaining my degree, I moved to Barcelona where I began my professional career as an actress. I studied theater, cinema and TV at La Bobina, El Club de Actores and Frankstein Studio. I currently continue my vocal training with Mariana Cabot.

I am a co-founder of the Mamut Teatre Company with which I have presented several plays and micro theater in Barcelona, including Rosita, Lorca in Lorca and Ladronas 3.0

I also participated in the TV3 series Nit i Dia (Night and Day) directed by Manuel Huerga, and in independent audiovisual productions such as the feature film Voix Brisées by Héctor Faver, the medium-length film El Bosque del Consuelo (Consolación) by Ethel Jagolkowski among others.
